Under Treasurer Stacy Garrity’s stewardship, Pennsylvania has failed to make meaningful progress in returning billions of dollars in unclaimed property that belongs to Pennsylvanian individuals, local governments, non-profits, and businesses.
Pennsylvania’s current approach is unimaginative and lacks aggressive leadership. It is slowed by half- measures and bureaucratic impediments that aren’t working. I will change it.
